Getting started

From download to a licensed runtime

  1. Download

Get the runtime for Windows x64 or Linux ARM64.

  2. Read HWID

Start Industrial UI without a license. It serves a page that shows your hardware ID (HWID).

  3. Get a license

Sign in with your email, then request a free 90-day trial or buy a license with points.

  4. Activate

Download license.key from your account and load it into Industrial UI.

Licensing

How licenses work

What counts as a connection

Every simultaneously connected device uses one connection: PLCs over any supported protocol, virtual controllers and Web API clients.

One license, one machine

A license is bound to the HWID of the machine it was issued for. On that machine you can run several instances on different ports.

Choose the right network interface

The HWID depends on the active network interface. Read it on the interface you will use in production: switching to another adapter, such as Wi-Fi, stops the license until the original one is back.

Works offline

A license is a signed file checked locally. Industrial UI never needs to contact our servers.
