Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of this website and of Industrial UI licenses obtained through it. By creating an account you accept them.

1. Account

• You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email address. Keep access to your mailbox secure: anyone who can read it can sign in to your account.
• Your email address is written into every license issued to you.
• By creating an account you agree to receive service emails: sign-in links, license and payment notifications and rare announcements about Industrial UI. These emails are part of the service.

2. Licenses

• A license allows one installation of Industrial UI on the machine identified by the hardware ID (HWID) it was issued for. Several instances may run on that machine on different ports.
• The connection limit is the maximum number of simultaneously connected devices, virtual controllers and Web API clients.
• The HWID depends on the network interface. If you change or switch network adapters, the license stops working until the original interface is restored.
• A term license is valid from the moment it is issued until the end of the term. A perpetual license has no end date.
• Each paid license can be re-issued to a new HWID once. The re-issued license keeps the connection limit and end date of the original.
• Trial licenses are free, limited to 20 connections for 90 days, and may be renewed once while active. The number of trials issued per day is limited.

3. Points and payments

• Licenses are bought with points. 1 point equals 1 USD.
• You top up points by sending Bitcoin to the deposit address shown in your account. A payment is credited after one network confirmation at the BTC/USD rate at that moment.
• Points do not expire, cannot be transferred to other accounts and are not refundable.
• Donations are voluntary, do not add points and are not refundable.
• Sending funds to a wrong address or on a wrong network cannot be reversed.

4. Acceptable use

You may not modify, bypass or tamper with the license check, share license files for use on other machines, or resell licenses without permission.

5. No warranty

Industrial UI and this website are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including production downtime or data loss, arising from the use of the software.

6. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email. Licenses already issued keep their conditions.
